Review: Physicians Formula Organic Wear CC Cream

How’s everyone’s week going so far, TGIF here!  Any special plan’s for the weekend?!  Another Typhoon came this week but again, I was lucky it wasn’t too bad in my area, boy there’s been a lot of rain since September…I mean a lot!  It’s still really hot here too, it’s supposed to cool down next week though!  Yay, I can finally start wearing my Fall clothes.

Today I want to talk about a CC Cream that I have been using all Summer long and still continuing to use.  It’s the Organic Wear CC Cream by Physician’s Formula CC Cream stands for Color Correction Cream, for those who don’t know.  I only like to put natural/organic products on my face as a base, so I was really excited when I saw this.  This one is 100% Free of Parabens, 100% free of GMO’s, 100% free of Synthetic Colors, 100% free of Synthetic Fragrances and 100% Cruelty Free!  How fabulous does that sound, excitement levels were high when I saw this!  Physician’s Formula only recently came to Japan and this was the 1st product I picked up to try.

The packaging is quite sleek, I love the silver and green tube it comes in!  The cap is a shiny green too and the whole package looks quite cool and not drugstore like at all.

It comes in 2 shades Light and Light/Medium.  Since I am very fair I got Light 6226 .  The consistency is quite thick to me, when I first squeeze it out but I have no trouble blending it out at all.  Just make sure to have your skin moisturized prior to application and you should have no problem.  Make sure you let it sink in first or the CC Cream will just blend in to your moisturizer and it will be a very sheer/light coverage.

The Organic Blue Agave, Organic Acai Palm and Organic Orange Water will really keep the skin moisturized all day.  It also has SPF 20, which is always a plus.  I would say this gives me light to medium coverage.  Of course, it’s not a foundation though, so don’t expect full coverage.  On most day’s, I just wear this with just a little concealer and that works great for me.  If I’m having a little skin trouble or my pores are looking a little big that day, I will pair this with a Primer underneath.  The shade Light is quite fair, so I do need to add a little bronzer to get some color back on my face.  After that I will just use a translucent powder on my T-zone and wherever else that needs it.  It gives such a natural “your skin but better finish”, which is my favourite type of look!

After a long day, I don’t find my T-zone getting oily and it doesn’t crease or leave any dry patches anywhere.  The longevity is good, it feels great on the skin and it’s 100% pure natural, what more could I ask for!

It’s around 1,900yen for 1.2 Fl Oz/ 35 ml
