Lipsticks are by far my all time favourite makeup product! I love how one lipstick can change your whole look or image. The YSL ROUGE PUR COUTURE lipsticks have definitely become one of my favourite because they are just so luxurious to put on your lips and so chic to have in your makeup bag!
YSL Rouge Pur Couture lipsticks come in a variety of colors from the everyday nudes to the more bolder colors. I have it in 11 Rose Carnation and 9 Rose Stiletto. Rose Carnation is an everyday pinkish nude and Rose Stiletto is a Mauvy pink with hints of purple, it’s a bold color but it’s definitely wearable during daytime. I love Rose Stiletto, it’s such a pretty shade. It will definately suit people with cool undertones.

The packaging is gorgeous and so elegant. I love the simple yet luxurious gold it comes in with the YSL logo and the black line where it closes together perfectly! It’s just one of those must have lipsticks you wanna have in your bag, even if it’s just for the package! Luckily, it’s not just the package though.
I know some people have said they can be drying on the lips but I don’t have any trouble with that. I wear a lip balm, line my lips all over with a lip liner and put the lipstick on. It doesn’t dry out my lips and the staying power is not to bad, it fades away nicely as well. I can’t say it’s one of those super moisturising lipsticks or anything but they’re not too heavy and feel nice on the lips. I don’t really feel like I’m wearing a lipstick, so that’s always a good thing!
I know they’re a luxury buy but I think every girls needs at least one luxury lipstick they can pull out for a special occasion or a night out! I will be picking up some more colors for sure.
